Welcome to the Division of Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology at the Department of Otolaryngology/ Head and Neck Surgery at Columbia Presbyterian Medical Center.

This web site is designed to provide introductory information about hearing loss, disorders of speech, language and swallowing, and the ways that we evaluate and treat this range of conditions in both children and adults. Conditions related to hearing and balance fall under the auspices of Audiology specialists, and conditions involving speech, language, voice, and swallowing are handled by specialists in Speech-Language Pathology. Some conditions require attention by both, of course.

Please follow this link to learn more about the Speech-Language Pathology services available in our division.

Our goal is to encourage patient education and communication with your physician, so that together we may ensure that every patient receives the best possible care. Useful articles and links are provided for additional reading. We welcome your questions and feedback.
